2-DayTheory (incl. uterine A&P and pathologies)

Who can take this?
Practitioners of complementary therapies who hold a recognised qualification in anatomy & physiology.

 What will I learn?
A 2-day theory course covering uterine pathologies

• a better understanding of the monthly cycle

• the main hormones which affect the cycle

• the pathologies that can occur when hormones are not in balance (ie fibroids, endometriosis, heavy bleeding)

• fertility problems

3-Day Practical Abdominal-Sacral Massage

Who can take this?
Practitioners of complementary therapies who hold a recognised qualification in massage and anatomy & physiology (or other professionals who have an equivalent or higher level qualification e.g. physiotherapists).

 What will I learn?
A 3-day practical course teaching you how to safely perform the abdominal-sacral massage on yourself and your clients.

• a better understanding of where the abdominal organs are

• how to powerfully integrate deep tissue and visceral techniques along with acupressure and reflexology to facilitate successful and productive bodywork treatment for women

• how to perform sacral massage to aid hip alignment

 16 case histories (4 clients x 4 times) will need to be submitted. Full support and advice will be available during this period.

Final Practitioner's Certificate

Who can take this?
Those who have completed Modules1 & 2.

What will I learn?
A 1-day practical consisting of refinement of the techniques learnt followed by a practical assessment. On successful completion of the assessment an Accredited Practitioner's Certificate will be issued.
